How to Order
The Engraving Process — Step by Step
Ordering a custom engraved piece is straightforward. I handle the details personally — no web forms that disappear into a queue.
Contact me with your idea
Use the form at the bottom of this page or message me directly. Tell me the piece you want, the text or artwork to engrave, and any size preferences. A rough idea is enough — I'll ask follow-up questions if needed.
I send you a digital proof
Before I touch any wood, I'll send you a digital proof showing exactly how the engraving will look — text layout, font, sizing, and placement. You approve it or request changes. Nothing gets cut until you're happy.
I build your piece
Once the proof is approved, I select the wood, cut, engrave, and finish your piece by hand. Most engraved orders are completed within 5–10 business days. Rush orders are available — just ask.
Ships free to your door
Every order ships free within the USA via FedEx. I package each piece carefully. Orders can ship directly to a gift recipient with a handwritten note included at no extra charge.
What to Send Me
Information & Files That Help Me Get It Right
For text engraving
Just type out exactly what you want engraved — names, dates, quotes, and any spelling or formatting preferences. Let me know if you have a font style in mind (classic serif, modern, rustic, script) or leave it to me and I'll choose what suits the piece.
For logo or artwork engraving
Send a .png, .svg, or .pdf file with your logo or artwork. Higher resolution is better. If you only have a JPG, send it and I'll tell you if it's workable. For military insignia — just tell me the branch and unit and I'll source the correct design.
